I’d like to discuss the possibility of enabling database encryption on MariaDB as a feature/setting in the Trellis configuration.
If this has been brought up before I apologize but I couldn’t find anything on the subject. I’m developing a site now that has the need for database encryption so I’m reading up on the subject. I’ve done a lot of different Wordpress-sites in the past but this subject is new to me.
My first questions are:
– Does database encryption fit into Trellis at all? With the great SSL options it suggests to me that it does for certain websites.
– Has anyone used an encrypted database with Wordpress before? Any difficulties or known issues?
