I’m using <?php the_excerpt(); ?> in my theme, however the “… Continued” text is not showing at the end of the excerpt. How can I fix this?
Do you have an excerpt filled out already on the posts? It won’t show it if you have an excerpt set (that is WordPress behavior, not Roots) - only for excerpts that get generated automatically from your content.
