General question & workflow question

  1. Is the theme sage, or roots?
  2. Normally when i work w/_s I just edit the files, create them in the various folder as i go using my sandbox with notepad++ ( Xampp so far, but will switch to vagrant next week).
    With this (sage?) is it good practice to use gulp even if you work alone?

  1. Sage. Roots is the name of the old starter theme, see https://roots.io/new-website-sage-and-the-future/
  2. With Sage you also just “edit the files”. It is also a starter theme. We don’t support using Sage without gulp.
