My navigation has a dropdown menu which I want my parent link go to a page . Right now it disabling when I have my dropdown menu
How is this Roots related? If anything, it’s Bootstrap related, but even that is a stretch.
So you want your parent items to have two actions? Toggle their children and be anchors? How will you know which action your users want?
This used to be the way dropdowns were done a while ago by making the children display on hover, thus leaving the parent still clickable, but keeping with the methodology of a mobile web, most UX_conscious developers have abandoned this (because there is no “hover” on touch devices).
