Is it possible to use the /app route for a page? It’s an issue because this is a protected directory and I’m using nginx as the http server. Redirects have the obvious side effects on themes and plugins. This is probably more of an nginx question than a bedrock, but any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Yes. Redirects break uploads and theme. Wondering if anyone is able to use the ‘/app’ URI endpoint, if it’s something unique to our config, or is a known limitation to the bedrock config.
Right, it’s probably not a good idea to have a URL redirect and a folder that is used with the same name. I would either use app as a subdomain, or rename the Bedrock app folder
