Designial is looking for a Lead WordPress SRE & Developer for the long-term maintenance and enhancement of a high-traffic web application. We are seeking a [Roots.io](http://Roots.io) specialist with deep experience in both infrastructure-as-code and backend development.

The Role

You will serve as the technical lead for an initial 16-month engagement (extendable). This is a dual-focus role involving system stabilization and high-availability maintenance (SRE) alongside the development of three major functional enhancements.

### Technical Requirements

- **Trellis/Ansible:** Expert proficiency in automated provisioning and encrypted vaulting.

- **Bedrock/Composer:** Senior-level dependency management and folder structure standards.

- **Kinsta:** Proven experience managing sites within Kinsta’s specific deployment constraints.

- **SLA Discipline:** Ability to meet a 1-hour P1 Response/Containment window during PST business hours.

- **Development Skills:** Strong PHP/MySQL skills for building API integrations and data-driven dashboards.

- **Accessibility:** Experience ensuring WCAG 2.0 AA compliance.

### Compensation

We utilize a dual-rate structure: please quote

- **Enhancements/Development:** $50-55

- **SRE/Maintenance:** $60-70

**Note:** Due to project data sovereignty and security requirements, candidates must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR).
