Curious to hear about anyone who has rolled their own paywall out using the Roots stack. I’ve been playing around with this and most of what makes it work are token handoffs from the SSO authentication and just tracking certain pageviews with JS cookies. It’s not really all that complicated but perhaps there are some server-side approaches I haven’t considered.
