# Plugin development using Blade and Controller?

Hi

I have been looking around for a plugin framework that uses the same structure as Sage (Laravel). I am currently using Sage 9 and the theme is pretty big, so want to off load some of it into separate plugins.

I saw that there is **Clover** post here: [https://roots.io/a-workflow-for-modern-wordpress-plugin-development/](https://roots.io/a-workflow-for-modern-wordpress-plugin-development/) but there is no other information about this and the structure in the blog doesn’t represent what is in the github repo.

What are the options when using Sage 9, other than upgrading to 10.
