[**Radicle**](https://roots.io/radicle/) v2.0.0 has been released

If you have already purchased a license for Radicle, you can download the latest version from the [Roots Dashboard](https://dashboard.roots.io/) or from the [GitHub repo](https://github.com/roots/radicle/releases/tag/v2.0.0)

## What’s Changed

- :sparkles: Vite & Tailwind v4
- :up_arrow: Acorn v5

Special thanks to Davide Prevosto and his agency, [Encodia](https://www.encodia.it/), for financially contributing towards the new Vite and Tailwind v4 setup

Out of curiosity, did you change the licensing (for a lack of a better word) for Radicle recently? It used to say “1 year of support included, renewals cost less”, with the assumption here that the 80 bucks is a one time fee and then we pay a smaller fee every year to keep getting updates after that.

I can no longer see that on the site. Did something change? Otherwise, what exactly is the yearly fee? Or is it a one time payment with infinite access now?

Yes — Radicle has moved to a [pay once](https://once.com/) model like our previous products

Hi! Very excited to use v2. I was wondering if there was an update guide from v1 → v2?

[Viewing the diff between the last two releases](https://github.com/roots/radicle/compare/v1.4.1...v2.0.0) is the easiest way to see what you’d need to change

That’s why i’ve been doing, for the php part it’s pretty smooth, but migrating from bud + tailwind v3 to vite + v4 is much harder i feel without any general guidelines.

Thanks

Shoot me an email if you’re interested in hiring me to help out — you won’t find an upgrade guide due to Radicle (and also Sage) being boilerplates/starting points

Tailwind itself has an upgrade tool for v3 to v4 you could take a look at.
