[`@roots/vite-plugin` v2](https://github.com/roots/vite-plugin/releases/tag/v2.0.0) updates our [Vite plugin for WordPress](https://github.com/roots/vite-plugin) for Vite v8, which replaces both Rollup and esbuild with [Rolldown](https://rolldown.rs/) — a Rust-based bundler built specifically for Vite.

Radicle builds are 50%+ faster, and the gains scale with project complexity. Larger projects see the biggest improvements.
