# "The lock file is not up to date with the latest changes" when deploying

Have you committed and pushed an up-to-date `composer.lock` file to your repo?

Could you try the steps [here](https://discourse.roots.io/t/johnpbloch-wordpress-moved-to-a-new-configuration-and-wp-goes-missing/9124/45) to deploy in a manner that avoids cached composer files? If it works, you should be able to go back to regular deploys.
