I like using Trellis, bedrock and roots locally but have never used it in production. My host does not provide Ubuntu so I am wondering if I can build the site locally with the full roots stack and then deploy just the theme to my production server.
You wouldn’t use Trellis to do the deploy at that point, but yes, you can build locally with Trellis and deploy to a non-Trellis site.
