Update LESS on live website

Hi,

How to update css on live website ?
When its on localhost i can do it with grunt. but how to do it on some domain. thanks

You could run Grunt on the server but I think most people just deploy updates with something like Capistrano.

So I need to buy it?
And thats for Roots theme or for the Starter kit?

Capistrano is open source software; so you don’t need to buy anything although Scott’s screencast is an excellent guide. Capistrano support is also built into our Bedrock WordPress Stack, if you want a solid base to work from.

If you are only updating the LESS/CSS, you can always simply upload the file via FTP as well…

so better capistrano is with roots or bedrock.
