Now that PHP7 is finally released (yay!) I’m curious about upgrading my current WP project to PHP7. Is there anything I should look out for with the Roots stack?
Out of curiosity - when should we expect PHP7 to be the default version of PHP in Trellis provisions?
Like a lot of Ubuntu installations, Trellis uses the Ondřej Surý PPA for Ubuntu to install PHP.
Once the PHP 7 PPA is updated to the new release and the warnings about it being experimental are taken off, we could probably switch to it by default.
can’t wait for all the good new stuff, sage 9, php 7, http2… am I missing anything?
