"vagrant up" throws an error "The following SSH command responded with a non-zero exit status."

#1

Hi there, I’ve been trying to do a run trellis for the first time, and I keep seeing this error upon “vagrant up”.

However if I try a “vagrant destroy” and followed by a “vagrant up”, wordpress is fired up successfully. But when I do a “vagrant halt” and then “vagrant up”, it throws the same error.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

[default] GuestAdditions seems to be installed (6.0.6) correctly, but not running.
bash: line 5: setup: command not found
==> default: Checking for guest additions in VM...
==> default: [vagrant-hostsupdater] Checking for host entries
==> default: [vagrant-hostsupdater] Skipping adding host entries (config.vm.network hostsupdater: "skip" is set)
The following SSH command responded with a non-zero exit status.
Vagrant assumes that this means the command failed!

 setup

Stderr from the command:

I was able to overcome this error by uninstalling the vagrant-vbguest plugin:

vagrant plugin uninstall vagrant-vbguest

then, vagrant halt and vagrant up.
