Best free way to export a Trellis/Bedrock/Sage site as static for a portfolio case study

I’ve got a website built with Trellis, Bedrock, and Sage that I’d like to keep online as a static version.

The client doesn’t want to pay for hosting anymore, and neither does my boss, but it’s a project I’m really proud of and I’d love to keep it live as a case study in my portfolio, ideally hosted for free as a static site.

Has anyone done something similar before?

I’d love to hear what tools or workflow you used to export or deploy a Roots-based site statically.

There’s nothing Trellis/Roots specific about saving a website. I personally just use wget.
