Does reprovisoning reset the database?

Hi There,

Im not sure, if I can safely reprovision my dev box to fix an issue with mailhog. Ot to fix the wrong mail config settings i installed my staging server with.

So when I do ansible-playbook -i hosts/staging server.yml or a ansible-galaxy install -r requirements.yml does ansible reset my db?

Try it and find out :wink: (you can always backup first if you’re really worried)

Yes you can.

For the record: The db gets not reset by a 2nd provison run! And: doing a backup with i.e. wp db export before is always a good idea.
