Fusion Sage 8 & Sage 9 Asset workflow

Hi,

for a special project I need the theme structure of Sage 8. But I would like to use the Webpack asset benefits from Sage 9.
I managed to merge both Sage versions. But now I got a problem with the assets after the build process (build production). I know that there is a assets.php in Sage 8 which looks inside the assets.json inside the dist folder to get the filenames with added hashes. I am aware that assets are handled different in Sage 9.
But in short: I don’t know how to get the asset handling from Sage 8 to work with the assets generated by Webpack from Sage 9.

I’m happy about every tip.
