Due to the overwhelming response to my original post, I thought I’d take the opportunity to refactor…
We’ve built an app that helps construction companies keep their workers alive and their bottom lines healthy. Our “app” was built on WordPress because I sucked at coding 5 years ago. Since then we’ve pushed what is essentially a publishing platform pretty far. Now I want to push it further.
We’re going to build a decoupled web front end along with companion mobile apps. (REST-API!). That’s right. Except there’s a problem…NO ONE HAS EVER DONE THIS BEFORE!!!
There are so many challenges, it’s exciting and terrifying at the same time. I know the first step is to find the right person to join the team and lead our efforts.
- Strong WordPress/PHP skills
- Previous experience with Javascript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
- An unquenchable desire to keep improving
- Sherlock Holmes-like problem-solving abilities
- Calm as a mountain lake under pressure
