How do I get rid of the trailing slash in my development Multisite URL?

I just created a Multisite Subdirectory Installation using Trellis, say for mysite.com. I don’t have much experience of nginx.

The problem is that my local site URL displays with a trailing slash, no matter what I type in:

– i.e. I type in mysite.local, and it displays as mysite.local/

When I deploy to my staging server (Shared Host running Apache) using Capistrano, it displays OK:

– ie. mysite.local

Is there a simple fix for this?

I am also facing this issue, but for a single directory site.
