Designial is looking for a Lead WordPress SRE & Developer for the long-term maintenance and enhancement of a high-traffic web application. We are seeking a Roots.io specialist with deep experience in both infrastructure-as-code and backend development.
The Role
You will serve as the technical lead for an initial 16-month engagement (extendable). This is a dual-focus role involving system stabilization and high-availability maintenance (SRE) alongside the development of three major functional enhancements.
Technical Requirements

Trellis/Ansible: Expert proficiency in automated provisioning and encrypted vaulting.

Bedrock/Composer: Senior-level dependency management and folder structure standards.

Kinsta: Proven experience managing sites within Kinsta’s specific deployment constraints.

SLA Discipline: Ability to meet a 1-hour P1 Response/Containment window during PST business hours.

Development Skills: Strong PHP/MySQL skills for building API integrations and data-driven dashboards.

Accessibility: Experience ensuring WCAG 2.0 AA compliance.
