If you have roots relative urls enabled, then Yoast SEO sitemap for “tags” are generated incorrectly with just the relative path and having issues in Google Webmaster Tools. I only had this problems with “tags”, not with categories, custom posts, etc.
Can you please open an issue on the Soil repo? That’s where the root relative URL code has moved to (no longer in Roots in the new 7.0.0 branch)
done, thanks for your answer
Soil 3.7.0 seems to be having the issue with Yoast SEO again/still where certain portions of the generated XML sitemap file are giving “This is not a valid URL” error in Google Webmaster Tools.
My post-sitemap.xml and page-sitemap.xml files are not using root relative URLS, but the main WP categories and my custom taxonomies and taxonomies are.
Is there a way to fix this, short of commenting out “add_theme_support(‘soil-relative-urls’);”?
