Hello. I reported an issue on github earlier today (sorry for putting it in the wrong place).

github.com/roots/trellis/issues/499 (discourse wouldn’t let me put this link in because it has other links in it and I’m a new user)

I just wanted to follow up by saying I haven’t been able to successfully narrow down where the problem is because I can’t replicate the issue successfully. After destroying and rebuilding the virtual machine with Vagrant 15 times, it failed with the error mentioned only 3 times.

In answer to austinpray’s question, I’m on Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS, the VM is as it is out the box with Trellis - trusty64

I’ll update again if I have the problem again, but as I can’t consistently reproduce it myself I guess it’s not an issue. Just logging it here for verboseness.

Thanks for the good work with Trellis.

I guess what I meant to ask was: does the command “vagrant box outdated” come up with anything when you run it?

Yes, looks like it is out of date, this could be the cause.

==> default: A newer version of the box ‘ubuntu/trusty64’ is available! You currently
==> default: have version ‘14.04’. The latest is version ‘20160217.1.0’. Run
==> default: vagrant box update to update.

Thanks!
