Roots nav menu and bbpress

Hi there,

I am (always ;-)) using the roots starter theme, but I now have a case where I am using bbPress to setup a forum. I have a problem with the nav menu, because I am missing the .active class. For some reason this is caused by bbPress because when I turn off bbPress the active state class is back.

Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

I am sorry! My topic has nothing to do with the Roots theme. I got the same problem with (for example) the Twenty eleven theme.
