Sage 10 Dynamic Imports and Empty Bundles

I have been struggling with the Sage 10 dev branch and the empty bundle issue found here:

I know some of you have used the dev branch in production, so I was wondering if all you did for now was remove the extract off the mix config, or is there another workaround you have been adding?
