So I’ve just inherited a website. I’ve not used Sage before so I’m just trying to figure out the setup and deployment process.
So far I’ve worked out it’s been built using 8.5.4, with gulp and bower. I have a WAMP setup on my laptop and was hoping to be able to reuse this. But from comments on here it looks like I need to install WSL and (I guess) run LAMP? would that be correct? I’m going to try to replicate the existing setup as far as possible as a starting point, as I think upgrading to sage 9 (or 10) and replacing bower will introduce a lot of risk for very little immediate benefit to my client (at the moment).
Does this sound like a reasonable starting point? Any high level advice appreciated!
