The old solution to this issue no longer works with Sage 9. I created a branch on my fork to demonstrate what I think is the correct solution. Suggestions welcome. I hope this is helpful to anyone who is trying to use Sage 9 with multisite and the wp-signup.php page. (FYI @strarsis—decided to move this off GitHub.)
