Should we use a specific release of Trellis, or HEAD?

Is it recommended to use the last numbered release of Trellis, or is it fine to just use HEAD?

I have noticed some recent new features in HEAD haven’t always been bug free. However, I appreciate it may be difficult to test every use case, so perhaps this means that a numbered version isn’t necessarily any more stable?

What is the dev team’s recommendation?

I’d like to say that a tagged release is more stable but there’s no guarantee on that. They are probably on average stabler than HEAD though.
