Uptime check + "Error establishing a database connection"

Apparently, the error Error establishing a database connection,
Uptime Robot doesn’t recognize it is an issue.

Is there a plugin (probably not?) or other Trellis/Bedrock extension that results in
proper HTTP error status code when the error Error establishing a database connection occurs?
