"wp plugin activate" Not Working On Windows Bedrock Installation

I am getting this error when i run “wp plugin activate” :
“bash: wp: command not found”

Is WP-CLI installed?

I thought bedrock installation comes prepackaged with wp-cli
should I have it installed globally on my machine ?

Yes, you do need to install it globally. Bedrock just comes with a config file to tell WP-CLI where WordPress is relatively to the project’s roots.
